Our Story

The Rachel Kohl Community Library was founded in 1950 by Rachel Kohl, who saw the need for a library in western Delaware County. Starting in a small closet at Concord Elementary School, the library officially opened in 1979 and became part of the Delaware County Library System in 1981. In 1989, it moved to its own building, honoring Rachel Kohl's dedication to community education.

Our Impact

The library significantly enhances the quality of life in the community by providing essential resources for learning and growth.
