About Race Swami

Race Swami is a community-driven swimming and enrichment program located in Rose Park and Glendale, Salt Lake City. Founded in 2011, this initiative provides economically disadvantaged youth with opportunities to learn swimming and develop essential life skills. Inspired by the late coach Kevin Perry, Race Swami emphasizes self-discipline, teamwork, and whole-body awareness.

Impact of Race Swami

Since its inception, Race Swami has proudly achieved a 100% high school graduation rate, with all graduates pursuing higher education. The program has positively impacted over 500 children, with more than 80% identified as at-risk, and has mobilized over 300 volunteers and mentors.
