Our Story

Quota International of Massillon is a dedicated all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving the Western Stark County community since 1992. This organization is particularly focused on providing essential services to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired, as well as disadvantaged women and children. A significant achievement includes the successful advocacy for the Universal Newborn Hearing Screening law in Ohio, which ensures that all newborns are screened for hearing loss before leaving the hospital. This grassroots effort culminated in the law's passage in 2002, showcasing the commitment to improving lives through advocacy and support.

Impact

Over the past three decades, Quota International of Massillon has made a profound impact by providing over 110 infants and children with hearing aids, purchasing more than 370 sound field amplification systems for local schools, and awarding over 40 scholarships to students in need. These initiatives have significantly enhanced educational opportunities and quality of life for many in the community.
