Our Story

Quincy After School Care, established in 1987, began as a pilot program initiated by former Mayor Francis X. McCauley. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital nonprofit organization serving hundreds of children across multiple school locations in Quincy, Massachusetts. QCARE is dedicated to empowering families and supporting youth through high-quality out-of-school time care.

Impact

Currently, QCARE successfully serves over 425 children daily, providing a safe and enriching environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth. The organization has adapted its services to meet community needs, including creating remote learning centers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
