Founded in 2011, Queer LifeSpace is a nonprofit counseling agency dedicated to offering affordable, evidence-based mental health and substance abuse services to the LGBTQIA+ community in the Bay Area. The organization was born from the vision of four founding directors who aimed to fill the gap left by the closure of New Leaf Services, which had served the community for 35 years. Queer LifeSpace continues to uphold this mission, ensuring that quality care is accessible to all.
