Launched in 2014, the Queensboro Dance Festival (QDF) was established to enhance artist access to a vibrant dance community in Queens. Each summer, QDF tours local parks, plazas, and streets, reaching over 10,000 people annually. The festival proudly showcases professional Queens-based dance companies representing diverse cultures and styles, offering more than 30 free outdoor performances, classes, and dance parties to the public.

QDF is dedicated to providing free professional development and resources to local dance companies, fostering a platform for underrepresented dancers in Queens. By promoting cultural exchange through dance, QDF strengthens community bonds and uplifts the spirit of its residents.
