Aid L’Shalom was founded in loving memory of Shalom Neuman, a devoted father, husband, and philanthropist. Shalom's legacy is defined not by his financial success, but by his unwavering commitment to helping others. He opened his home and heart to countless individuals, establishing the Tosh community outreach program and an organization dedicated to assisting the poorest residents of Eretz Yisroel.

In his later years, Shalom faced his own battle with cancer. Despite being given only weeks to live, he sought alternative treatments and conducted extensive research into Vitamin C infusion therapy. His faith and determination granted him three additional years filled with laughter, love, and a renewed commitment to his mission. His final wish was to create Aid L’Shalom, ensuring that supplemental therapies are accessible to all patients, regardless of their financial situation.
