Our Story
Quality Living Services was born from the passion of two sisters, Sandra P. Lacefield and Irene M. Richardson, who recognized the unmet needs of the elderly while studying gerontology at Georgia State University. In April 1985, a small meeting in the basement of St. Mark AME Church transformed a class project into a living organization. Joined by their mother and five other seniors, the sisters laid the foundation for what would become a vital resource for the elderly community. Just three months later, on July 29, QLS was officially incorporated as a nonprofit organization.
