Quadre - The Voice of Four Horns is a California-based non-profit chamber music organization that seeks to forge lasting connections with the San Francisco Bay Area community and beyond; to present music in a new light that is fresh and engaging; and as teaching artists, promote a lifetime appreciation of the arts to audiences from all backgrounds, especially those that are underserved and marginalized. In the 2020-2021 fiscal year, the organization:a)Commissioned music from nationally recognized composer, Benjamin Shirley.b)Held its third international Quadre composition competition receiving 92 entries from 24 countries.c)Presented What is Home? at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts in June 2021.d)Performed in the SF Bay Area collaborating with organizations that serve the unhoused community.e)Offered online music masterclasses, lectures and live stream rehearsals.f)Received private individual and foundation support towards its local concerts and touring.g)Acted as a fi
