Our Story
Founded by Doris and Stan Michalek after the 1964 earthquake in Alaska, St. Francis House began its mission in Tacoma and moved to Puyallup in 1974. This nonprofit organization has been dedicated to helping low-income families and individuals by providing essential services such as clothing, food, and financial assistance.
Impact
Last year, St. Francis House had over 8,300 client visits, positively impacting more than 21,329 individuals through various programs, including distributing Christmas toys to 1,327 children and providing 955 students with new outfits and school supplies.
