Reducing Hunger
Providing Supplementary Meals
Increasing Awareness of Good Nutrition

Our Story

Putnam Valley Community Food Pantry was established in November 2004 to address hunger in Putnam and northern Westchester counties. Serving communities such as Putnam Valley, Lake Peekskill, and Yorktown, this interfaith initiative relies on community support to operate.

Our Impact

Currently, the pantry serves between 175-200 families each week, a significant increase from just 6 families on its opening day. By purchasing food from the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and receiving donations of produce and bread, the pantry effectively combats food insecurity.
