About Putnam County Museum
Since 2003, the Putnam County Museum has been dedicated to bridging generations and connecting communities by preserving the rich history and culture of Putnam County. This mission began in the late 1990s when the Putnam County Historical Society sought a permanent home for the invaluable artifacts and stories that reflect the lives of the county's residents.
Impact of Contributions
The Museum operates without governmental support, making contributions vital for its ongoing efforts to preserve the past and engage the community.

As a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, the Museum relies on membership dues and donations. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. A gift of $35 covers the Museum's utility bills for one day, while $350 supports all operational expenses for a day.
