Our Story
Founded in 1968 by dedicated parents, Putnam County Comprehensive Services (PCCS) began as a program aimed at providing vocational opportunities and daily living skills training for individuals with developmental disabilities. Over the decades, PCCS has evolved significantly, expanding its services to include Licensed Group Homes and Semi-Independent Programs, ensuring that individuals receive the support they need in their own homes.
With the introduction of Medicaid Home and Community Waiver Services, PCCS has further enhanced its offerings, focusing on community living and individualized care. Today, PCCS proudly serves over 400 individuals and families across 26 counties in Indiana, employing more than 500 staff members dedicated to making a difference.
