In 2015, founder Sean discovered the power of superhero mythology while interviewing a child suffering from acute abuse. This pivotal moment inspired the creation of Put On The Cape, a foundation dedicated to empowering children facing similar challenges. The inaugural event, Superhero September, raised $4,000 and has since evolved into an annual celebration that continues to grow.
Each year, advocacy centers supported by Put On The Cape assist over 15,000 victims of child abuse, sexual violence, and neglect, as well as domestic violence and sexual assault.
