Our Story

Purse-Impressions was founded by Patricia Brusha in memory of her daughter, Courtney Elizabeth Michaels, who tragically passed away at 28 due to liver cirrhosis after battling addiction. Inspired by Courtney's wish for a better 'first impression' upon leaving rehab, Purse-Impressions provides graduates with purses filled with essential items, symbolizing dignity and care.

Impact

Since 2019, Purse-Impressions has donated over 5,000 filled purses and backpacks to rehabilitation centers across Arizona, Florida, Colorado, Virginia, and Canada, supporting individuals in their recovery journey.
