Our Story

Purr Nation Cat Alliance was founded in July 2018 by Tara Lopez and Stacey Richolson, RVT, who share a passion for animal welfare. After years of experience in rescue, they recognized the need for a better approach to support the cat-loving community. Their journey began while caring for a kitten with unique medical challenges, leading to the establishment of PNCA to enhance the lives of homeless cats.

Impact

Since its inception, PNCA has facilitated 3,874 adoptions, with 441 adoptions in 2023 alone, significantly impacting the local cat population.
