The Puppet Co. was founded in 1983 by Allan Stevens and Christopher Piper, dedicated to presenting professionally produced puppet theater. With a rich history, it staged the first performance of The Nutcracker in 1988 and opened a permanent playhouse in 1989, becoming a cherished institution in the community.
In 2022, over 16,500 people attended a show or event at The Puppet Co., showcasing the organization’s commitment to engaging audiences through original works and traditional children’s stories.
