Our Story

Founded in 2008 by four dedicated volunteers, Pup Squad Animal Rescue was established to save puppies and mother dogs from the dire conditions of Houston’s Animal Control facility. The organization focuses on rescuing pregnant dogs, nursing litters, and puppies under six months old, aiming to reduce euthanasia rates through adoption and humane care.

Impact

Since its inception, Pup Squad has saved over 6,000 dogs, with 75 dogs finding forever homes in 2022 alone, showcasing a profound impact on the local animal rescue community.
