Our Story

The Pulsera Project is a fair trade nonprofit organization founded in 2009, dedicated to connecting Central American artists with students in over 3,800 U.S. schools through the sale of vibrant handwoven bracelets known as pulseras. By providing fair trade jobs to over 200 artisans in Guatemala and Nicaragua, the organization fosters economic empowerment and cultural exchange.

Impact

Since its inception, The Pulsera Project has raised over $6,000,000, which has been invested in creating jobs and empowering communities in Central America. The project supports educational programs and various social initiatives, including artisan housing and scholarships.
