Our Story
Pueblo Unido Community Development Corporation (PUCDC) was founded in 2008 by community leaders Sergio Carranza and the late Rodolfo Piñon. Recognizing the social and economic disparities faced by agricultural worker families in the Eastern Coachella Valley, PUCDC emerged to foster collaborative efforts among residents and stakeholders, aiming to improve the quality of life for underrepresented rural communities.
Impact
Since its inception, PUCDC has secured and leveraged $63 million in investments for affordable housing, community economic development, rural infrastructure, and climate change initiatives, significantly benefiting the Polanco communities.
