Our Story

The Pueblo Community Soup Kitchen was founded in November 1976 by Sister Sara Mulligan, beginning its mission in the basement of St. Anthony Church. Over the years, it has transformed into a vital nonprofit organization, relocating to its current facility in February 1991. The Soup Kitchen serves a diverse clientele, offering meals without questions asked, and has continually adapted to meet the growing needs of the community.

Our Impact

Daily, the Pueblo Community Soup Kitchen provides between 115-200 meals, ensuring essential nutrition reaches the most vulnerable members of the community, including families and individuals facing food insecurity. The organization thrives on steady food and monetary donations, allowing it to fulfill its mission without relying on government funding.
