Founded in 1986, the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center Inc. (PPSC) offers a progressive, multi-theoretical psychoanalytic training environment. Embracing diversity in sexualities, genders, and races, PPSC fosters a space for students and faculty to explore a wide range of psychoanalytic ideas.
PPSC trains over 50 candidates annually, providing low-cost therapy to hundreds of patients. The institute actively engages in community service initiatives, including the Refugee Support Project, and has increased efforts to support LGBTQ+ clinicians and communities of color.
