In 2006, Don and Shannon Schaupp purchased a five-acre property, envisioning a sanctuary for their family and friends. Their heartfelt prayer was, "Above all, Lord, use us in the building of Your Kingdom for the rest of our days." This vision blossomed into The Potter’s Place, a tranquil haven where individuals can connect with God amidst nature. In 2017, the ministry was officially incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continuing the welcoming spirit initiated by the Schaupps.
