Our Story
Established in 1968 by Bishop Dr. Claude Porter, Proviso-Leyden Council for Community Action Inc. (PLCCA) is dedicated to serving low-income residents in Cook County’s Proviso and Leyden Townships, as well as the municipality of Norridge and the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
Our Impact
PLCCA provides essential programs focusing on Children, Youth and Family Services, Behavioral Health Services, and Supportive Services, empowering individuals and families through education and training.
