Our Story

Founded in 2006, Protectors of Tule Springs emerged from a passionate group of citizens committed to safeguarding the unique paleontological and biological resources of the Upper Las Vegas Wash basin. After years of advocacy, the organization became a formal 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2012.

Our Impact

With over 500 tons of trash removed from the Tule Springs Fossil Beds, Protectors of Tule Springs has made significant strides in conservation efforts, ensuring the preservation of Ice Age fossils for future generations.
