Our Story

Founded in 2001 by Gloria Wade, Protectors of Companion Animals Inc, known as SNiP-it, began with a vision to end pet homelessness and reduce animal overpopulation in Central Florida. In 2002, the organization played a pivotal role in persuading Seminole County commissioners to stop adopting out intact animals from the County Animal Shelter, highlighting the importance of spaying and neutering. Over the years, with the support of her sister Joan Frazier, SNiP-it has facilitated numerous spay/neuter programs, assisting hundreds of pet owners in need.

Our Impact

By donating today, you become part of the solution. For just $25 a month, you can cover the spay/neuter cost for one cat or dog, preventing up to three unwanted litters each year. This effort significantly reduces the number of animals entering shelters annually.

Why Donate?

To help the most animals in need, SNiP-it aims to provide affordable spay/neuter services for Central Florida residents. By ensuring pet owners have access to high-quality animal care, we can promote healthier, happier pets while decreasing the number of unwanted litters.
