Founded in 1982 by the late Esther Nowell, Protection of Animals in Wakefield Society Inc, known as PAWS, is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to animal welfare. Serving communities north of Boston, PAWS works tirelessly to protect the rights and well-being of domestic animals and wildlife.
