Founded in 1981, Promises2Kids began as the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness about child abuse. Over the years, it has transformed into Promises2Kids, focusing on the needs of foster children in San Diego County. The organization provides essential tools, opportunities, and guidance to help foster youth overcome their past and build successful futures.

Each year, Promises2Kids supports over 3,300 current and former foster youth, equipping them with the resources they need to navigate their challenges and emerge as healthy, happy adults.
