Promise Academy

Our Story

Promise Academy was born from a vision shared over dinner by two dedicated board members. Initially set to launch in Memphis, logistical challenges led to the establishment of the school in a small Episcopal Church in Frayser. Starting with just three kindergarten sections and 60 eager students, Promise Academy has expanded significantly, now operating multiple campuses and serving over 400 students.

With a commitment to quality education, Promise Academy has achieved remarkable academic success, including recognition for reaching level 5 status for two consecutive years. This achievement reflects the school’s dedication to nurturing students and preparing them for future educational endeavors.
