Planning for Project URGE began in late summer 2001, culminating in a formal meeting in March 2002. With a dedicated team still involved today, Project URGE collaborates with churches and community organizations to address disparities in under-resourced areas of the Finger Lakes Region. The mission is to combat poverty, community violence, and systemic racism through action and truth, as inspired by 1 John 3:17-18.
