Code2040 is a Black-led nonprofit founded in 2012, dedicated to leading racial equity work in the innovation economy. By uplifting Black and Latinx individuals in the tech industry, Code2040 provides essential programs and community resources to combat the power imbalances faced by these communities.
With one of the largest communities of Black and Latinx technologists, Code2040 has served as a vital entry point for hundreds of Computer Science undergraduates. Collaborating with over 250 tech-driven organizations, the nonprofit advances the recruitment, retention, and advancement of Black and Latinx talent in tech.
