Project Smile

Our Story

Founded in 2003, Project Smile is a dedicated nonprofit organization inspired by a heart-wrenching story of three brothers in New Jersey. The impact of a stuffed animal during their traumatic experience sparked the creation of two signature programs: Suits & Smiles and Smiles for Children. With over 44,000 stuffed animals collected and donated to 200 police and fire departments nationwide, Project Smile aims to bring comfort to children in distress and empower low-income men to secure employment.

Impact

Project Smile has made a significant difference by providing stuffed animals to children in traumatic situations. Almost all men who participated in the Suits & Smiles program have successfully found employment, showcasing the positive impact on their lives and the community.
