About Project R.I.D.E.
Founded in 1979 by Chris McParland, Project R.I.D.E. has transformed from a small initiative into a vital resource for over 600 students across a 10-county area in California. With a fully enclosed 32,000 square foot arena and a dedicated horse herd of 16, the organization offers therapeutic recreational horseback riding instruction tailored for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
