Our Story

Project Nyame Nsa began with the heartfelt dream of a young girl named Devon, who envisioned a home for orphans in Africa. At just nine years old, she shared her dream with friends and family, overcoming doubts and challenges. By the age of sixteen, Devon raised funds for a water well project in Ghana, where she witnessed the dire need for support among vulnerable children. This transformative experience led to the establishment of Project Nyame Nsa, meaning 'God’s helping hands' in Twi, and the creation of the Village of Hope in Ghana.

Our Impact

Since its opening in July 2016, the Village of Hope has provided a nurturing family environment for orphans, helping them thrive and realize their potential. The organization has also launched the Village of Joy in Zambia, expanding its reach to more children in need.
