Our Story

Founded by Chris and Holly Steed in 2011, Project For Hope is dedicated to uplifting the community of Magdalena Milpas Altas, Guatemala. Witnessing the struggles of widows and single mothers living in poverty, the organization was established to provide essential support through employment, healthcare, and education. With a vision to break the cycle of poverty, Project For Hope has developed a leather shop and a holistic family support system.

Our Impact

Currently, Project For Hope serves 15 families by offering high-quality education, healthcare, and vocational training. The organization has successfully created jobs through its leather workshop and farming project, enabling families to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their quality of life.
