Our Story
Project Ezra is dedicated to serving the frail Jewish elderly on NYC’s Lower East Side. Founded in 1972, this nonprofit organization provides essential services and activities aimed at reducing social isolation and enhancing the quality of life for seniors. Guided by the principle of tikkun olam, Project Ezra brings light and joy into the lives of those who need it most.
Impact
Currently, Project Ezra serves over 200 elderly individuals who are economically, physically, or psychologically marginalized. As longevity increases, so do the needs of the elderly population we support.
