Founded in 1992 by the Ecumenical Council of Calvert County, Project ECHO Inc. emerged from a community-driven initiative to address homelessness. The organization opened its first emergency shelter in 1993 and has since expanded its services to include transitional housing, recovery programs, and a thrift shop, all aimed at fostering personal growth and independence for those in need.
