Our Story

Project Defending Life (PDL) is a Catholic, pro-life organization dedicated to transforming lives in New Mexico. Founded in the 1980s by Brother Matthias Barrett, PDL has evolved from a prayer movement into a comprehensive support system for women facing unplanned pregnancies. With services including pregnancy medical clinics, a sidewalk ministry, and the Holy Innocents Chapel, PDL aims to provide holistic care to women and children.
