About The Center for Courageous Kids

Founded in 2008 by the late Ms. Elizabeth Turner Campbell, The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a not-for-profit medical camp facility dedicated to serving children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Located in Scottsville, Kentucky, CCK offers a unique environment where campers can find respite, have fun, and feel normal, free of charge.

Impact of CCK

Over the past 15 years, CCK has positively impacted the lives of over 36,000 medically fragile children and their families from 45 U.S. states and 13 countries, providing a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere.
