Founded by twin sisters Brandy and Tonya, Project 48 is dedicated to supporting children in foster care. With firsthand experience in the system, they recognized the urgent need for high-quality clothing and essential items during vulnerable transitions. Since its inception in 2019, Project 48 has expanded to include multiple programs that assist youth at every stage of their foster care journey.
In 2023, Project 48 made a significant difference in the lives of 4,800 youth aged 7-23 navigating the foster care system. The organization provided 2,500 essential bags, graduated 100 youth from life skills training, and distributed 2,100 holiday bags to teens in need.
