Our Story

Project 16:49 is dedicated to serving Rock County’s unaccompanied homeless youth, ages 14 to 21. The organization believes that every young person deserves an opportunity to succeed. Named for the critical 16 hours and 49 minutes between school ending one day and starting the next, Project 16:49 ensures these students have access to essential services and support.

Impact

With a remarkable 94% of youth improving their self-sufficiency scores and 92% of Transitional Living Program residents graduating high school, Project 16:49 is making a significant difference in the lives of homeless youth.
