Our Story
Founded in 1969 during the de-institutionalization movement, Progress Foundation aims to reintegrate individuals from state psychiatric hospitals into the community. With 19 programs across San Francisco, Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties, it serves over 4,500 individuals annually, focusing on those facing multiple challenges such as substance abuse and criminal justice histories.
