Our Story

In September 2011, a dedicated group of child care providers recognized the need for a unified voice for family child care in Georgia. This led to the establishment of the Professional Family Child Care Alliance of Georgia, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to elevating the standards of family child care through training, education, and national accreditation.

Our Impact

The PFCCAG is focused on increasing access to high-quality early childhood home programs, particularly in rural areas of Georgia. The Explore-FCC pilot project aims to reverse the decline of Family Child Care Learning Homes (FCCLH) by providing essential coaching and technical assistance to new providers.
