Our Story
Founded in 1998 by Dr. Doreen Hock and Lyn Gilman-Garrick, Pro-Bone-O began its mission to provide veterinary care for the companion animals of Lane County’s homeless population. Starting in a parking lot, the organization has expanded to offer free clinics at the Eugene Mission, staffed by dedicated volunteers and local veterinarians.
