Our Story

Founded in 1980 at Los Gatos Christian Church, Prison Sports Ministries began as a basketball team. This initiative quickly evolved into a powerful outreach program, utilizing sports as a platform to share faith and hope with inmates. Starting with Soledad State Prison, the ministry has expanded its reach to over 300 prisons across California and beyond, fostering spiritual growth and community among inmates.
