Priority Africa Network (PAN) is an Oakland-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting and advocating for Black immigrant communities. Acting as a bridge between Black immigrants and African Americans, PAN provides access to vital information, networking opportunities, and capacity building. Through initiatives like the African Diaspora Dialogues, PAN fosters connections that promote intentional integration and a shared agenda for racial equity and immigration justice.
PAN's programs reach approximately 10,000 individuals regularly, mobilizing 450 partner organizations and 250 members. This outreach strengthens relationships between Black immigrant and African American communities, addressing complex expressions of Black identity, culture, and race.
