Pride ROC was founded in 2017 to address the historical violence in Chicago, focusing on healing young Black men from systemic trauma. Through innovative programs like Gang Rescue and Refinement Passages (GRR), the organization promotes holistic development, utilizing nature, trauma-informed care, and vocational training.
Over six years, Pride ROC has successfully conducted 57 Passage extractions, leading to significant improvements in participants' lives, including reduced involvement in gun violence and increased employment rates among the Pride ROC 35.
