The Pricing Carbon Initiative (PCI) emerged from a pivotal retreat in July 2011, where leaders from diverse environmental, social justice, and business sectors convened to address the urgent need for carbon pricing. Based in Washington, DC, PCI now coordinates a network of approximately 300 individuals from 80 advocacy groups, think tanks, and associations, fostering essential discussions on carbon emissions policy.
