Our Story

Founded in January 2009, Prevent Homeless Pets began its mission in borrowed veterinarian offices, successfully spaying and neutering 1,284 cats and 89 dogs in its first year. By 2013, the organization opened its own clinic, allowing for even greater service expansion and increased capacity to help pets in need.

Impact

To date, Prevent Homeless Pets has spayed and neutered over 30,000 animals, playing a crucial role in reducing pet overpopulation in Central Washington and Eastern Oregon.
