Founded in 2012, Prestige Institute began as a project under Urban Catalyst, offering ESL classes at Baker-Ripley Neighborhood Center in Gulfton. Over the years, PLI has expanded its services to include women's ESL classes, children's programs, and mentorship for men, ultimately moving to a larger facility in 2023 to better serve immigrant and refugee families in Houston.
By the grace of God, PLI has positively impacted over 1,000 families from 55 countries and 42 languages through holistic services that transform entire communities.
